i was treated to a day of much-needed pampering by cathy crispo mancini (the maven behind the spa) along with two lovely new gal pals -- charise garcia and jacqueline vong.

and look at what happened to our nails -- courtesy of the new Muppets line from OPI. So perfect for valentine's day (or a special celebration!).

i enjoy getting my nails done, but my pocketbook does not. 

so i've kind of perfected the art of doing my own nails (toes and fingers). it's something that shocks my parents to this day (they tell me i was not a girly girly.)

i'll wear just about every colour, too. which is why i fell for this summer nail guide from refinery29.

 

life's a party, so why not make every day sparkle? i haven't been able to track down this nail polish -- birthday party by deborah lippmann -- in toronto yet, but i'm dying to put a coat or two on my nails... i can see me staring at them and smiling simply because they look so fun. i've declared the polish the perfect remedy for these end-of-winter/i-want-patio-weather-now days.
